From Struggle to Strength: The Journey of Coach B
Brennis Mobley also known as “Coach B” is a Fitness Trainer and Nutrition Consultant based in Miami, Florida, a devoted husband, and a proud father. He is also a U.S. military veteran, having served 15 years, including deployment to Afghanistan where his health journey truly began.
While serving overseas, Brennis had a moment of deep self-reflection. Despite the demands of military life, he realized he wasn’t in the physical shape he wanted to be in—and more importantly, not in the shape his future required. That realization planted the seed for change.
In 2017, that seed became action. After repeated warnings from doctors about high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and other serious health concerns, Brennis faced a defining moment. At 244 pounds, he struggled with constant fatigue, painful knee issues, and sleep apnea that required a breathing machine just to get through the night. That was his wake-up call.
What started as a mental shift evolved into a complete lifestyle transformation. Brennis committed to breaking unhealthy habits, improving his nutrition, prioritizing sleep, and eliminating fast food and high-sodium snacks. Through education, working with a coach, and consistent action, he reclaimed his health—and his life.
In 2016, Brennis began competing in bodybuilding through the National Physique Committee, where he placed multiple times, earned Overall Champion titles, and received recognition for Best Poser—demonstrating not only physical excellence but discipline, confidence, and stage presence.
Along the way, he rediscovered the joy of movement, returning to basketball, being fully present with his children, and feeling confident in his body again. His dedication to the sport further reinforced what disciplined lifestyle change can truly achieve.
Today, Brennis helps others experience the same transformation. As a Fitness Trainer and Nutrition Consultant, he specializes in helping busy professionals lose 20 pounds in 60 days and build sustainable habits for long-term health. He currently coaches at Performance Club WIND ATHLTX, where he works with clients both in-person and through structured coaching programs. As a certified nutrition specialist with the National Council on Strength and Fitness, he teaches the powerful connection between food choices, exercise, and daily lifestyle decisions.
